Outdoor learning means children learn about nature by observing and discovering what is happening outside. This could include plants, animals, weather, or other natural phenomena.

It makes learning concrete and direct. Children get the chance to see nature with their own eyes, which increases their interest and respect for the environment.
Have children collect different types of leaves and ask: “What is special about these leaves?” or “How do you think these plants grow?” This helps them learn more about the nature around them.
