Overview
This fun activity will help you learn more about the wonderful plants, trees, and wildlife in your setting. This activity requires a tour of the school grounds or area where you will be working, noting the plants, flowers, trees, and wildlife.
Equipment
- Ready made bingo cards (included in the PDF)
- Pencils/pens
- Clipboards
Activity
1. Share the bingo cards and discuss what you can see, such as the names of leaves and wildlife.
2. Work in partners with a bingo card and pencil per pair.
3. Walk around the area, marking off the items on the card when you find them.
4. If you find all the items, call ‘bingo’ and come back the meeting place.
5. When everyone is back, discuss what you found and where, and how you knew where to look.
