The Gezonde Kinderopvang programme is an initiative of the Ministries of Health, Welfare and Sport (VWS) and Social Affairs and Employment (SZW). National knowledge and research institutes work together on this initiative, supported by sector and umbrella organisations. Coordination is provided by the RIVM (Centre for Health and Society) and the Netherlands Nutrition Centre.
Partners of Gezonde Kinderopvang
The partners below make a structural contribution to the further development of the Gezonde Kinderopvang approach and training and to carrying out programme activities. This includes providing train-the-trainer courses, peer consultation days and planning.

Ambassadors
Gezonde Kinderopvang works with ambassadors from the field. These ambassadors work at Kinderopvang Kivido, KMN Kind en Co, Kindercentrum Petito’s, Ska, Kinderdagopvang Hoi Pipeloi and mboRijnland.

Experts from national thematic institutes and knowledge organisations, together with the National Institute for Public Health and the Environment (RIVM), ensure that the thematic pages on Gezondekinderopvang.nl are kept up to date for day care and out-of-school care.
The organisations involved are: IVN, Huidfonds, Knowledge Centre for Sport & Exercise, Dutch Cancer Society, National Centre for Hygiene and Safety, Netherlands Youth Institute, Rutgers, Sardes, Trimbos Institute, Veiligheid NL and Netherlands Nutrition Centre.
