Thursday National Vegetable and Fruit Day
The Chef! teaching portal is packed with fun activities about vegetables and fruit for all ages.
- Start the day cheerfully with the Vegetable and Fruit Song.
- Get started with the Fruit Taste Mission. In this Taste Mission, pupils discover all kinds of things about fruit by investigating for themselves. The Fruit Taste Mission consists of 6 interactive lessons, supplemented by an interactive whiteboard module. Go on an adventure both inside and outside the classroom! - years 6, 7, 8
- Break up the day with the Vegetable and Fruit Game or Vegetable and Fruit Quartet
- Choose a short lesson activity (Snacks) around a vegetable or fruit moment of the day
