MDT Buitenkans in Drenthe and Zeeland

Two groups of young people from DCTerra and HZ University of Applied Sciences were fully immersed in nature last June. As part of MDT Buitenkans, they spent three days at the IVN location De Veldhoeve in Drenthe and the Oest Farm & Stay food forest in Zeeland. They were intense, varied and educational days filled with activities such as sawing wood, making fires, barefoot yoga and reflective moments in self-chosen spots in nature.

After this introduction to nature, themselves and one another, the participants got to work at a green organisation to give something back to nature. At the GroeiGrond community garden, they put on their gardening gloves, improved the paths and prepared the soil for sowing.
