Sufficient physical activity is important for everyone, from young to old. Young children need enough varied physical activity for healthy development. For adults, physical activity helps us stay fit and healthy and age vitally.

During the Week of Motor Skills, from 6 to 9 November, we will explore this theme with partners from research, policy and practice through a diverse programme. Inspiring examples, new insights and practical tips will help professionals take another step towards encouraging a lifetime of sport and physical activity.

Week of Motor Skills: Live!

On Monday afternoon, 6 November, we will kick off with a live event at Hal 22 in Utrecht. Led by Suse van Kleef, the topics of mental health and physical literacy will be discussed, with inspiration and connection taking centre stage this afternoon.
