Mulier Institute investigates the physical activity program 'Ren.Spring.Gooi!'

Commissioned by the Royal Dutch Athletics Federation, the Mulier Institute is conducting research into the physical activity program 'Ren.Spring.Gooi!'. The aim of the research is to further develop the program. As part of this, the Royal Dutch Athletics Federation and the Mulier Institute would like to gain insight into teachers' needs and wishes regarding physical activity programs and support materials.

Who are we looking for?

Primary school physical education specialists and classroom teachers with a physical education qualification who would like to contribute their ideas on the content and future of physical education. We are looking for both teachers with experience using 'Ren.Spring.Gooi!' and teachers without experience with the program.

What do we ask?

Participation in a focus group with approximately 4 other teachers. The session will probably take place in May, will be a one-time event, and will last approximately 1.5 hours.

Why is it important?

We use the information that emerges during a focus group session to further develop physical activity programs. This means developing the content of the program, as well as its structure, so that programs become more feasible and user-friendly for teachers.

Our Food Week

From 3 to 10 October 2026, it is Our Food Week. A great opportunity to focus with your class at primary school on where our food comes from, how it is made and why healthy and sustainable choices are important. Food education allows pupils not only to learn, but especially to experience. That is why various organisations are joining forces to support schools with inspiring activities, teaching materials and practical tools. Examples include the Mayors’ Breakfast, a free visit to a farm, or shopping vouchers for cooking in the classroom.
