These questions concern physical education in mainstream and special primary education. Different guidelines sometimes apply to special education. These are explicitly indicated for each question. The questions are divided into the following categories:
General (questions 1 and 2)
- May I provide physical education in person?
- I work at a special secondary education school, where the students do attend school. May I teach these students?
Indoors/outdoors (3 to 7)
- Can physical education take place in the gymnasium, or must it take place outdoors?
- When is outdoor physical education undesirable?
- What if, as a teacher, I would rather provide physical education outdoors, but the school requires it to take place indoors?
- What if, as a specialist teacher, I would rather provide physical education indoors, but the school requires it to take place outdoors?
- The municipality is keeping the gyms closed; what agreements are in place regarding this?
Preventing infection (8 to 12)
- Hygiene advice
- Does the 1.5-metre distancing guideline apply within education?
- Can I provide physical assistance?
- Is it safe for me to teach?
- The protocol states that protective equipment such as face masks is not used in education. But if I do want to wear one, am I allowed to?
Rights and obligations (13 to 15)
- Can I be required to teach at school if I am concerned about my own health?
- Can I be required to teach at school if I belong to a high-risk group?
- Can I be required to teach at school if I live with someone who, according to the RIVM guidelines, has severe symptoms?
Hygiene (16 and 17)

- Will camps, sports days and excursions still go ahead?
- My school does not provide physical education because mathematics and language are considered priorities. What arguments are there for providing physical education after all?
