Suicidal Thoughts Workshop
When someone takes their own life, it is officially called suicide or suicide. Although the term suicide is much more common and government agencies still use this term (such as 113 suicide prevention ), we still choose the neutral term suicide. The term suicide insinuates that someone who takes their own life is actually committing murder, which is why the victim is referred to as if he or she were a perpetrator.
Of course, suicide is an act, but in our opinion, we should not regard someone who is thinking about it as someone who is in danger of becoming a perpetrator, but rather as someone who is in danger of becoming a victim. We should not try to catch a perpetrator in time, but we should prevent someone from becoming a victim of something as terrible as suicide.
The participants will work on their personal experiences and challenges so that everything learned can be directly applied in their own teaching practice and/or mentoring. The content of the workshop "Suicidal Thoughts" is therefore determined in accordance with the wishes of the school and the participant's own experiences and learning needs. Because of this customization, the final content will always be unique, but the learning objectives below could be considered as inspiration.
