Workshop Overview

This workshop trains educators to use Reciprocal Teaching to move students from passive to active readers. Teachers learn the four core strategies and how to teach them through multisensory, scaffolded instruction that supports diverse learners.

• How to teach summarizing, predicting, questioning, and clarifying
• Practical application with fiction and nonfiction texts
• Multisensory strategies for whole group, small group, and one-on-one instruction
• Scaffolded support for struggling readers and English language learners
• Ways to build comprehension across content areas

Format: Fully Self-paced, online format
Length: 3-4 hours
Access Window: 90 days to complete
Audience: Grades 1-5 general education, Grades 1-12 intervention
