Description

Every day we are working to get children learning. We sincerely hope that they will pick up what we offer them with so much passion. Mind mapping is a wonderful tool to help children remember the lesson material better.

A mind map is a 'drawing' of thoughts according to a fixed structure combined with words and images. Mind mapping involves a combination of writing and drawing. A mind map helps students to remember and structure information better. In a wonderful way, this fits in better with our natural thinking and learning than simply writing A4 pages.

Better Remembered and It's Also Fun

Mind mapping has many advantages: the standard way of taking notes, for example, does very little to help you remember what you write. Mind mapping fits much better with the way your brain stores information. By using multiple colors, pictures and connections, you create stronger associations

Mind mapping is a change in thinking and learning, without requiring a lot of preparation from the teacher. It is not a goal in itself, but a means to an end. A book report can also be made using a mind map. The processing of a play category does not always have to be done in a workbook or on a tablet, a mind map is ideal for this. But of course also for processing a picture book with the toddlers.

Mind Mapping is Suitable for All Subjects at School

Mind mapping can be used in all subjects taught in primary school. But also in meetings, conversations, companies, brainstorming, lists, daily planning, vision description of the school etc.

Mind mapping is suitable for all ages at a primary school; pupils but certainly also for teachers and management. Mind mapping is for schools that want to combine creativity with effective learning.

For Whom

For teachers
- who want to get more out of their lessons.
- who want to combine creativity and fun with effective learning.

What Do We Offer

This training has two possibilities. A training moment where the theory and practice are explained. In the morning or afternoon, everything is discussed. This is a workshop.

Another possibility is to organize two meetings. Then everyone can apply what they have learned in class and there is a second moment of deepening. You will be given the necessary literature to study at home.

After this team training, you can immediately start mind mapping with your students.

- You will learn the theory of mind mapping and be able to explain it to colleagues.
- You will be given tools to teach students the technique.
- You will work with assignments that you can also do in your own group.
- You will learn why mind mapping is an important addition to your lessons.
- You will learn when mind mapping can be used in the various subjects at school.
- You know when mind mapping is most effective.

At the End of the Journey

Mind mapping is used in every class. The frequency can be a school agreement. Every participant understands the theory and can get started right away. Mind mapping is secured in the school documents and is visible in the school.
