Workshop | Introduction to Museum Didactics

In this practice-oriented workshop, you will learn as a (future) teacher how to connect a museum visit to your teaching program. How do you choose between different cultural providers? How do you prepare students well? And how do you ensure that they take as much as possible from their introduction to art and heritage?

In a playful way, PABO students and teachers lay a theoretical foundation and develop skills to guide a class through the museum themselves. The workshop offers practical tools, such as Visual Thinking Strategies (VTS), to take with you in your future teaching practice. You will also gain insight into how museum lessons are created and how you can use art to stimulate curiosity and eagerness to learn.
