Workshop Giving and Receiving Peer Feedback
In education, effective collaboration among staff is crucial. This requires skills in giving and receiving feedback. If these skills are not yet mastered, it often presents challenges and can even disrupt collaboration. The importance of effective team communication cannot be underestimated, and therefore, it is essential that all team members learn how to share and receive constructive feedback to improve and strengthen collaboration.
During the workshop, participants will discover how to have open and respectful conversations about behavior without creating resistance. We emphasize addressing the effects of behavior in a way that is constructive and enjoyable for everyone. This allows colleagues to address each other without disrupting collaboration, but rather to improve it. We also delve deeper into receiving feedback, ensuring the team's response remains positive and constructive, even if the feedback isn't delivered perfectly. Finally, we focus on giving professional compliments. The workshop ensures that participants move forward as a more cohesive team, with a long-lasting positive effect on collaboration among all colleagues present.
Participants will work on their personal experiences and challenges, ensuring that everything learned is directly applicable in their own teaching practice. The content of the "Giving and Receiving Peer Feedback" workshop is therefore determined in accordance with the school's wishes and the participants' own experiences and learning aspirations . Because of this customized approach, the final content will always be unique, but the learning objectives below could serve as inspiration. Please note: we can offer each workshop as a standalone workshop or as part of a program throughout the school year. The learning objectives below will then only serve as a starting point for such a program.
