Workshop | Executive Functions in Gifted Students

Gifted students often have exceptional intelligence and learning ability, but can also experience challenges in executive functions such as planning, self-regulation and organization. This workshop provides in-depth knowledge and practical strategies to recognize, understand and support these functions.

After this 2-hour workshop you will have:
Insight into Executive Functions: you understand what executive functions are and why they are important for the development of gifted students
Characteristics of gifted students: you know what the specific challenges and needs of gifted students are with regard to executive functions
Practical interventions: you have received practical tools and learned which strategies to strengthen executive functions in gifted students you can apply, both in the classroom and during individual coaching
Individual support: you now know how to develop skills by providing individual support and adjustments that meet the unique learning styles and needs of gifted students
Effective communication: you have learned to improve communication with gifted students, and how to create a supportive learning environment through their parents and peers.
