Elementary school Worksheet | Conversation (Two Parts)

Conversation (the talking part):
Talking with others is an important skill. A good conversation has different parts: starting the conversation, keeping it going, and ending it nicely. Trish is meeting her new classmate, Dan, for the first time. Write down something she can say to start a conversation with him and how they can keep it going. As you get near the end, think of a good way for their conversation to end!

Conversation (the not-talking part):
The not-talking (non-verbal) part of a conversation is just as important as the words we say! What we do while we’re listening to others can help show them that we care about what they are saying. This includes our facial expressions, how close we stand to someone, nodding, and using hand gestures. Using good non-verbal communication makes conversations better and helps us connect with others.
