About This Webinar
Framing for the session will be provided by Dr. Courtney Cook-Cottone, a Licensed Psychologist, Yoga Instructor, Associate Professor at SUNY at Buffalo, and the author of the picture book THE WORRY MONSTER: CALMING ANXIETY WITH MINDFULNESS. She will discuss anxiety as it presents in the classroom and offer tools you can introduce to students to help calm the inner worry monster.
Author, musician, and educator Kira Willey will then model a few practical, quick, and easy-to-use mindfulness tips and techniques to calm your classroom (and yourself!) and stop worrying in its tracks.
