6 Minute SEL is a resource designed to help boost core social emotional learning skills.
The team behind it has created FREE short video lessons to support social emotional learning for kids, even during school closures. A free social emotional learning video is posted each day on their YouTube channel and website at 7:30am. These videos are intended for all age groups, including elementary, middle, and high school students.
The SEL videos aim to promote the five core SEL competencies: self-awareness, social awareness, self-management, relationship skills, and responsible decision-making.
Each video includes reflection questions. Educators are encouraged to pause the video at each question to provide students with adequate time to reflect and respond.
