Teach the Teacher is a training for teachers in primary and secondary education, who want to mean something extra for students. The impact of well-trained education professionals is particularly great for students who are struggling at school.

For whom?

For teachers in primary and secondary education who want to offer extra support together with the school on social-emotional development and safeguarding of the students.
Often a number of teachers from a school are trained in Teach the Teacher to form a team together. They form the team that students can turn to, not for punishment, not for homework or other matters, but precisely for the moments when they get stuck, are looking for peace, want to have a chat or even have a specific request for help.

What can You Expect?

Teach the Teacher is a training for teachers in primary and secondary education who want to do something extra for students. The impact of well-trained education professionals is particularly great for students who are struggling at school.
In the ‘Teach the teacher’ training, we teach teachers how they can gain insight into a student’s need for help in a number of steps, how they can support this and which tools they can use in practice. The team also works out what the care structure of the school looks like.
The aim is to offer students a place within the school where they are seen and heard, with a strong preventive effect. This allows students to continue to participate without the need for scaling up.
We will work with psychopathology, introductory tools and various appropriate movement interventions, which can be offered within the school or in the area.
There is a great demand from society for support for young people and some of the problems can be solved at school by trained teachers who can see the person behind the behaviour.

This training is based on research and personal experience in education and effectively addresses the bottlenecks.

Where and When?

The training can take place at the Oerkracht Academy, but also at school, where we can immediately assess the possibilities within the school.

The Costs

Teach the Teacher is offered in the agenda and can also be purchased in-company as a school.
The costs depend on the number of participants.
