People tend to do things that don't work. How often do you hear a teacher give the same message, in different words, to his students? The advice from the solution-focused framework is: 'If something doesn't work, learn from it and do something else.'
Solution-focused work focuses on students' vision of the future, rather than on the past and the problems they experience or cause.
This training introduces solution-focused working and focuses on the basic attitude and principles of solution-focused working. Various solution-focused instruments, such as the 15 steps Kids' Skills, the use of the miracle question and the scale question are discussed in this training. The techniques used in the training are simple and directly applicable in your own educational practice and increase the chance of effective and solution-focused working within education.
The training consists of a variety of working methods and is interactive with images, presentations and practical examples. The training is also full of fun and useful exercises that ensure that the teacher quickly gets the hang of solution-oriented work.
