About the training:
You are a parent or a professional and would like to learn more about sensory processing (ZiP). Why does someone become restless, sluggish, or quickly overstimulated? And more importantly, what can you do about it?

With a better understanding of sensory processing, you can better understand behaviour and help create more calm and concentration.

That’s why SensoMatters invites you to take part in their training. During the training, you will learn how to put on your ZiP glasses and how to support others in their sensory needs.

In-Company Half Day (3 Hours)

• €105 per person, minimum 8 people and maximum 16 people
• Live or online
• If two workshops are booked on the same day (by the same trainer), you will receive a discount on the second workshop
• Discount available for larger groups
• Option to include your own visual materials (if desired)
• +€0.45/km travel costs and any parking fees

In-Company Full Day (6 Hours)

• €210 per person, minimum 8 people and maximum 16 people
• Live or online
• For larger groups, you will receive a discount
• SKJ accreditation 9.25 points
• NIP/NVO accreditation 12 points, divided into:
- Re-registrations: 6
- Training – treatment: 3
- Training – diagnostics: 3

About the Lecture:

In addition to their training, SensoMatters also organizes lectures. They enjoy sharing their knowledge about sensory processing and present at symposia and conferences. SensoMatters is also happy to come on-site, for example at schools during study days, parent evenings, or intervision sessions within organizations.

The lecture focuses on sensory processing (the same as “sensory information processing”). In addition to being very informative, the lecture is also interactive. SensoMatters explains in a clear way:

• What it means to be under- or overstimulated
• Which behaviors are associated with under- or overstimulation
• Which behavioral cues are most important to recognize
• Which solutions are effective

During the lecture, SensoMatters shows video and visual materials so participants can directly see how behavior may look when someone is under- or overstimulated. Throughout the session, participants are encouraged to view behavior through the ZiP lens, meaning they consider sensory processing as a possible underlying cause. Various solutions are introduced that participants can immediately apply in their own situations.

There is ample time for questions during and after the lecture. The lecture typically lasts 1 to 1.5 hours, but the duration can be adjusted to fit your schedule.
