Personal Professionalism
The actions and attitude of the teacher are crucial for the quality of education. Teachers are constantly faced with complex issues and often have to make quick choices about which approach to use. By knowing why you do something and what you are aiming for with it, more conscious choices can be made in daily educational practice. This allows professional values and goals to be better observed.
Parts:
- Introduction to the theme and theoretical framework. What is personal professionalism?
- From theory to practice. From which underlying values does the teacher shape his professional actions? This is investigated by means of activating and reflective work forms.
- Personal professionalism in daily practice. Using practical examples, we look at what development is possible for each participant.
Goal and result:
In this training, the teacher examines which underlying values determine his professional conduct, which visions of education appeal, and how certain insights can be translated into daily educational practice. Together, we examine which qualities a professional teacher possesses, how to get there, and what considerations are required for this.
