Move ya Hippe Training

Move ya Hippo: Did you know that not only your body, but also your brain is very happy with movement? Move ya hippo is movement for your brain with psycho education, (kick)boxing, relaxation exercises and tips and tools for home, work and school.

For whom?

Move ya Hippo is a workshop focused on movement for your brain and suitable for professionals in healthcare and education, but is also regularly given at primary schools in groups 7/8 or secondary schools in the first year of secondary school.

What to Expect

The name ‘Move ya Hippo’ is derived from the stress axis: Hypothalamus, Pituitary gland and Hippocampus. When you are stressed and tense, you produce the stress hormone cortisol and you can slow this down by (intensive) movement or rest. Your brain is happy with movement. We will also learn this during the workshop and experience it ourselves! After some theory, supported by an animation, we will move intensively and then immediately rest. You will experience what this does to your body and brain and you will receive tips and tools to use this in your daily life. Will you join us?

Where and When

The workshop can be purchased for teams or school classes. We can offer this at our own location or at a location of your choice. In addition, we will put a number of moments on the agenda where you can register.

The Costs

Costs for a 2-hour workshop for your team or class are €400,- incl. VAT. We provide all the materials, you only have to participate.
