Children and screens, they seem like magnets. Just shouting ‘that it’s been long enough’ often leads to discussion. Sound familiar? Many parents are looking for starting points, tips and advice. Zit met Pit! is organising this theme evening for parents on this current topic.

Screen Time Knows No Time

During this inspiring and interactive evening we will talk about the following topics:
How long is your child ‘allowed’ to play games? Or be online?
How do you make good agreements about screen time?
Are you aware of your child’s world of experience?
Gaming; a hobby or a problem?
Fear of gaming addiction? Recognize the signals.
Physical consequences of excessive sitting behavior.
And of course parents will also play a game themselves this evening! No, not online but just with an old-fashioned game of Snakes and Ladders, they will talk to each other using questions and cases.

Media Literacy

A world full of media. Children grow up with screens, being online and digital information. The Internet offers unprecedented possibilities, but unfortunately there are also less beautiful sides to the story.

How important is it for a child to be media-savvy? What do you pay attention to as a parent when your child is online?

This part will also be discussed this evening.
