Training | Dignity for All Students Act (DASA) Training Online

Description

This Dignity for All Students Act training provides educators with a understanding of the Dignity for All Students Act (DASA) and its application in creating safe, inclusive, and respectful school environments. The course covers the prevention of bullying, harassment, and discrimination, emphasizing legal responsibilities and proactive strategies to address these issues. Participants will develop the skills to identify, intervene, and prevent harmful behaviors, ensuring the dignity and emotional safety of all students. This is a fully online. Learners have 6 weeks onlilne access.

This training is suitable for educators, administrators, and school staff, offering practical tools for fostering a positive school climate and promoting equity and respect. The length of the training is at least six clock hours. Learners are required to have reliable internet connection, speakers, and a device with internet connection such as phone, laptop, tablet, or desktop computer. This training is required for NYES school personnel. #1 AAA CE Trainings' DASA Training is approved by NYS Offices of Teaching Initiatives.

An online post-test is included at the end of the course, and is required to successfully complete the course. At least 18/25 questions correct is required to pass the post-test. You have three attempts to successfully complete the post-test (with the same questions).
