Learn with your team how to integrate NEMO's free teaching method of Making Science into your school!

In Brief

Making Science from NEMO is the free teaching method for design and inquiry learning for grades 1-8. The lessons are hands-on and focused on science and technology.

From a refrigerator to a coat hanger and from a bridge to a toaster: almost everything around us is invented and made. This requires creativity, problem-solving skills and collaboration. With the hands-on teaching method Making Science, children will design, try out and make things themselves. Through open-ended assignments, they find their own solution to a problem. In this way they develop the skills appropriate to the 21st century.

Do you want to get started with Botany in all classes? Then follow a team training. You start with the basic training. This takes about three hours. After that you can choose from 3 follow-up trainings. To familiarize yourself with the activities the students will be doing, you do them yourself. There is much attention for the didactics of design learning and research, for the connection with math and language and for differentiation according to level and type of child.
