Appropriate education means that education and support must match the needs of the child. In practice, this means that children with various disabilities and disorders can be given a place within regular education. What is needed to make appropriate education a success?

First of all, a positive attitude is necessary. Good coordination and communication with the child and all those involved are also important success factors. In addition, 'effectively dealing with problem behavior', linked to an effective system of rules and routines, is also an important success factor.

Behavioural problems require a varied approach: mild problem behaviour can often be prevented by a good pedagogical classroom and school climate. In the case of serious problem behaviour, the interventions and strategies from basic support are usually no longer sufficient.

This training contributes to improving the pedagogical climate in the classroom. Interventions and strategies are also taught that support the teacher in dealing with students with ADHD, disorders in the autism spectrum, and transgressive behavior.
