Why Worldly Wise with Lot
Wereldwijs met Lot is a public initiative of Stichting Lot's Foundation. Artist Herman van Veen is the spiritual father of the foundation. We dream of building a future in which 1.5 million primary school pupils learn to contribute to a resilient, sustainable and inclusive society through Wereldwijs met Lot. We do this based on the mission: If the children are doing well, the world is doing well!
Flexible Deployment
Wereldwijs met Lot is not a standard teaching method, but a flexible, dynamic approach that gives schools the freedom to implement citizenship education in their own way.
Whether you want to give a few inspiring lessons, launch a project on citizenship, integrate the lessons weekly or just use the innovative set of goals: Wereldwijs met Lot makes it all possible.
Engaging Teaching Activities
Wereldwijs met Lot takes students into the world of citizenship, sustainability, children's rights and culture in a captivating way. Through the lesson activities, you bring these important themes to life for groups 1 to 8 of primary education. Every month, our editors offer new inspiring, up-to-date lesson materials, including do-it-yourself activities and challenging polls that encourage children to take action. Our approach is in line with the legally required themes, the inspection requirements and the building blocks of SLO.
