The Smiling Mind Primary School Program is an evidence-based social and emotional learning (SEL) initiative designed to enhance mental fitness skills among students. Co-created by psychologists and educators, it aligns with the Australian Curriculum and offers comprehensive lessons and resources. Individual subscriptions cater to various users, including casual relief teachers, teacher’s aides, and homeschooling parents. The program has positively impacted over 1,400 Australian schools, with 88% of educators noting improved classroom environments. Digital lessons for Years 1-6 can be accessed via the free Smiling Mind App. Subscribers receive a year of access to 120 lessons, interactive activities, and implementation support.
