The Wiser in Reading Motivation is a practical tool that allows students to enjoy reading more in an accessible and playful way! The Wiser consists of a manual and 57 activity cards, divided into 4 categories (team cards, student cards, group cards, and parental involvement).

All activities contain effective proven principles that promote reading motivation, also called motivational needs. They take your students along in the positive reading spiral, because… those who read a lot, become better at reading. Those who become better (or are good) at reading, find reading more and more fun. Those who enjoy reading, read a lot. And so on.

Without much preparation you can get started! Even if there is no school-wide vision on reading promotion (yet), a teacher, RT-er or ib-er/kc-er can get started right away. You will see that your efforts will have an effect and that your enthusiasm will spread like wildfire.
