The saw guide is an ingenious tool to help your child saw safely!
With the saw guide clamped to the plan to be sawn for safe sawing, you prevent your child from sawing into his or her fingers while sawing. In addition, your child saws in a straight line, so always a good result. So you can let your child get started with peace of mind.
The saw guide consists of:
- a holder with handle and recesses for the mounting clamps
- a saw clamp into which the saw blade is inserted
- a scale for miter sawing on the saw clamp
- a yellow screw knob to fix the saw clamp to the holder. This can be attached on both sides, right or left.
Your child can easily secure the saw guide and board to the workbench or table using the clamps provided. We have modified these clamps to make it very easy for them to secure.
How does the saw guide work? The child uses the saw guide in combination with the ToolKid hand saws. By inserting the saw blade of the saw into the clamping part and making the sawing movement, the saw is guided (straight) through the wood. With the yellow screw knob you secure the saw clamp to the holder. You can also adjust it with this to saw at an angle. For left-handed children, the saw clamp can be attached to the other side of the holder.
