You use the jigsaw to cut shapes from thin wood. It's a fun activity, but in practice, children have found it difficult to use standard jigsaws. This prompted us to look for solutions for a jigsaw that works for children! The handle of the ToolKid children's jigsaw has been modified so that it no longer gets in the way while sawing, allowing your child to hold the saw upright.

Because children aged 5 to 12 are still developing their motor skills, they need more grip and larger handles. The handle of the jigsaw is therefore perfectly designed for the average size of children's hands in this age group. The profile on the handle provides a firmer grip.

The pistol grip helps your child control the saw better and let the saw do the work.

The bracket is marked with markings for where the jigsaw tensioner should be placed when inserting or replacing the jigsaw. This allows your child to easily clamp the saw and tighten the wing nuts by hand. An added benefit is that the saw is properly tensioned in the bracket and less likely to break.
