This handsaw for children aged 9 and up has a handle for larger hands, based on the average size of children's hands aged 9 to 12. The saw blade is adjusted to the length of your child's forearm and has double-sided sharpening , allowing it to cut smoothly through the wood. The saw blade is also slightly thicker so it doesn't bend immediately when accidentally pressed with too much force. The black coating ensures low friction and offers extra protection against rust, making the saw suitable for outdoor use.
Children generally use a lot of force when sawing. The pistol grip, with the index finger inserted through the top hole, encourages proper sawing motion and takes the force off the hand, preventing chopping.
To make it completely realistic, the handle is also provided with marking angles for 45º and 90º.
