Reading word rows is covered in almost all groups. These tips are intended for the repetition of rows, new sounds and words. These must first be offered to the group with clear instructions.

What's in the Package?

3 1 minute sand timers
3 large foam dice
3 dice with insert sleeves

What Could You Do With It?

Have the children read words in pairs and keep track of how far they can get in 1 minute.
Number the rows and have the children throw the dice, which row should they practice?
Put rows of words in the insert sleeves of the assignment dice and see which words are 'thrown'.

Even More Fun Tips

Divide the group into pairs. The children both have a piece of sidewalk chalk and an overview of word lists. You can use the pawns as a starting and writing place.

The children take turns reading a word from the list. When they have read the entire list, they choose a word together to write down.

Run to the other side, write the word and run back again.

Then they read the next list and choose another word to write down.

The clap-stamp exercise
The clap-stamp exercise is always a success. The children are given a list of words, make sure that the children in their group (almost) everyone has a different list of words. The children stand on their chair and read their list after the teacher's starting signal. If they have read the list once, they hold up 1 finger and read the list again in the meantime. Successful again? Add a second finger.

The teacher claps his hands and the children stamp on the ground once as an 'answer'. Then they pass their row to the next child and they also receive a new row. Repeat this as long as necessary.
