Planning competition 2025
Registration for the Whizzkids Primary education competition is free.
Acquiring basic digital skills and literacy with a focus on collaboration and learning from each other.

You can register from January 21 to March 9, 2025.
The competition starts on March 17, 2025.
Participants must submit their answers no later than Friday, April 18, 2025.
Who can participate?
Whizzkids organizes ICT competitions for groups six, seven and eight in primary education in the Netherlands.
Didactic use of ICT and media within the various learning areas is central. All questions and assignments focus on the theme of integrated ICT use.
IT competition
The Whizzkids competition includes 1 series of questions with 15 questions adapted to the group for which you registered the class.
- The Whizzkids Primary Education Competition takes place from 17/03/2025 - 18/04/2025.
- The series of questions is shared with the registered classes via a Google Classroom.
- A series contains 15 searches, questions about educational Dutch-language sites and ICT and media applications from the Netherlands, Flanders and Belgium.
- People are given 5 weeks to get started with the series of questions in class.
- Participants participate as a class, the answer form is completed once as a class. The students work together and learn from each other.
- You will have time until Friday 4:00 PM on the day the question series is due.
- If you submit too late, 10 points will be deducted from the total.
- You can submit later until 10 p.m. on Sunday evening. No answers will be accepted after this time.
- After submitting your answers, check the mailbox of the competition email address. There you will get an overview of the answers you have submitted. If you did not receive an email, this means that the answers were not sent (in full) and that we cannot award any points.
- The Whizzkids email address will not be used to register with other organizations/games/competitions/...
- The teacher is the coach.
- Only one answer form will be sent per class/group.
- It is not permitted to post the questions, assignments and/or answers on the internet, (school) website or social media or to pass them on to other participants.
- By participating in the competition, you commit to working on the series of questions together with the entire class and with all children (if possible).
- The competition jury reserves the right to disqualify a class if there is abuse and/or if the regulations are violated.
