Description

Decomposition of numbers can be tricky to roll out in kindergarten - especially when they've already been exposed to and working with addition and subtraction. I have found they often try to make it more complex than it is! I created this multi-activity resource to roll out decomposing numbers in a way that gives them different ways to engage, with each activity building on the next.

OR...maybe you just need some fun reviews or extra ways to work with decomposing! In that case - use the activities however it most suits you!

Decomposition of Numbers
- 95 pages in total
- 2 different slide presentations to present whole group
- 2 different Craftivities (Both in B&W or color )
- Readers to print in color (2 versions)
- Booklets to print in B&W for student work (2 versions) *scaffolded and advanced
- Guide to 5 days of lessons that build on each other
