Description
Students build and test Catapult Models C3 and C4 to explore how the arrangement of the pivot, effort, and load affects a lever. They compare the distance between the pivot and load in the two models and test which catapult throws the tire farther. Model C4 throws the furthest because of the distance between the pivot and the load.
