Description

This lesson develops students’ ability to write clear, descriptive sentences about a story. Students review sentence structure (nouns, adjectives) and learn to use transition words (e.g., next, then) to show sequence. They practice adding detail with descriptive language and organizing ideas for clarity. Through guided and independent writing, students improve sentence variety and coherence, helping them communicate ideas effectively for an audience while strengthening overall writing skills.
