Ages: 6-9 years
People: 3 or more
Duration: under 15 minutes

In this activity, learners will be able to talk about what makes themselves or their friend special. This lets learners practice building positive relationships and self-confidence.

Materials

Two sets of Six Bricks for each learner. If you do not have Six Bricks available, a mix of regular LEGO bricks, or a piece of paper and some crayons can be used instead.

This activity was developed for the classroom but it can easily be used in other settings as well.

Instructions

Step 1
Make groups of 3-4 learners and provide each group member with two sets of Six Bricks.

Step 2
Ask each group member to create a model of themselves. It's recommended 3 minutes for building, but allow them enough time to complete the task.

Step 3
At the end, they will share their model with group and describe something special about themselves.
