Lesson Idea | Sort Those Shapes

Students explore shapes while engaging in corresponding movements. They sort themselves by shape and perform movements related to each one. After selecting shape cards, they jog to their matching posters and freeze in place. This leads to a fun demonstration of exercises associated with each shape, such as arm circles for circles or jumping jacks for triangles.
