Description
This lesson is a grade-4 writing activity designed to help students practice writing an informational paragraph. In it, students choose whether winter is or is not their favorite season and then write a paragraph explaining their viewpoint. The activity requires them to include at least three supporting details to clearly explain their reasoning. To enrich their ideas, part of the lesson involves going outside to experience winter, observe the season firsthand, and gather details that can be used in their writing.
