Description

In this lesson, students will explore energy transfer within an ecosystem, focusing on the roles of the sun, producers, primary consumers, and secondary consumers. Half of the students will represent primary consumers (plants), a quarter will act as primary consumers (rabbits), and the remaining quarter will be secondary consumers (hawks). This engaging activity is designed for 3rd to 4th graders and will take approximately 20 to 40 minutes to complete.
