Lesson Idea | Architecture Collage

Description

This lesson introduces students to architecture by exploring how buildings are designed using different types of lines. Students learn that architecture combines art and real-world needs, like homes and stores. They observe examples of buildings and identify lines such as straight and curved. Then, they use rulers, paper, and simple materials to create a collage of an imaginary town with multiple buildings. Through this activity, students practice art skills, use measurement, and explore how lines and shapes can be used to design creative and meaningful structures.
