Motion game Lettertikkertje is a game in which students in grade (2-)3 practice naming letters and making words.

In this active tag game, all students are given a letter card. Two tickers are assigned who try to throw the players off with a (soft) ball. When a player is thrown off, he/she goes to the side of the field. Players try to form a word there with other children's letters. If they manage to form an existing word, they name the word aloud and those players are free again. They get a new letter and go back into the playing field. This game contains 51 letter cards, showing all the letters of the alphabet (including the diphthong vowels). Some consonants appear twice in the game.

You play this game preferably on the (school) square, or in the gymnasium so that there is enough space for the players to move around.
