Game | Jump the Split: Split to 10

Splitting up to 10 can be practiced with Move game Jump the split up to 10. This is a game where students in pairs practice splitting numbers up to 10. Before the game starts, each pair draws a split circle (numbers 0 to 10 in a circle) on the square/sidewalk.

Each pair is then given a stack of split sum cards, this number depends on group size (game contains 50 cards). One player of the pair reads the split aloud and jumps on the numbers. The other player solves the split aloud and then jumps on the answer. The first player checks the answer (is on the back of the card). Switch roles after 3 sums. 
When the cards “run out,” the pair swap cards with another pair.
