The Phonics in Motion Online On-Demand Course combines what we know about best practices for teaching reading and writing in the Early Childhood classroom with practical application that can be utilized with students of all abilities.

Attendees will learn about the five pillars of literacy skills necessary for success: phonemic awareness, phonics, fluency, vocabulary and comprehension, and how they come to life in four engaging, student-centered literacy routines.

What's Included in the PIM PD Program:

• Year-long access to Phonics in Motion literacy routines and resources to deliver high quality instruction to your PreK-3rd grade students.
• Learn more about the Science of Reading and how students who struggle with foundational literacy skills can be supported as they move toward middle school.
• PD Certificate for 15 contact hours upon course completion.
Please note: PIM is a copyrighted method of teaching. A 1-year license to teach with Phonics in Motion is required.
• 1 year access to the Phonics in Motion© program and materials.

This program introduces your kiddos to our unique motions for every sound.

The motions set the foundation by developing speech, articulation, and phonemic awareness. The motions are the component of Phonics in Motion that integrates with every other PIM tool; supporting learners all the way through third grade when more advanced skills are layered in.

Designed to Help Young Learners:

• Engage in language exploration. The motions get kids using their bodies and make language come to life!
• Articulate sounds correctly in speech (the motions provide kinesthetic information about how to produce sounds correctly).
• Develop Phonemic Awareness (which is a critical foundational skill for reading and writing).
• Stay on task and burn energy! Language learning and reading become active activities. Fun!
• Differentiate between sounds (so they can later take them apart and put them together when reading and writing).
