Course Description:

Connected Classroom knows how challenging it can be to keep students actively engaged and excited about learning. The use of video is an exciting way to enhance learning and embrace 21st century skills of collaboration, communication, critical thinking, and problem solving. Let’s face it, bite-sized learning is here to stay and can be a very effective way to differentiate instruction for your learners. Teachers worldwide are becoming more and more comfortable with utilizing technology to captivate their students’ attention in an ever-changing digital world by creating short tutorials specific to their students’ needs. There are so many ways to create video lessons that can be used over and over to encourage mastery of important skills related to your curriculum: Photo Booth, Canva, Seesaw, Camera, Screencast-O-Matic, Screen Recorder, PowerPoint, EdPuzzle, and so much more. This might be an intimidating concept at first, but after one or two views, your students’ overwhelmingly positive reactions will boost your confidence and make you want to go for more! Let's do it!
