Description
This CPD-approved online self-harm training course has been created to help people working with children and adults identify the warning signs of self-harm and understand what to do if self-harm is suspected
One of the most essential parts of safeguarding vulnerable people in the workplace is being able to identify and understand self-harm. Children, young people, and adults are all at risk, and with youth mental health problems on the rise, it’s crucial to recognise their signs and tackle them as early as possible.
This self-harm training for staff aims to raise awareness of the issue for anyone who will be interacting with vulnerable individuals in their place of work. Learners will be able to identify potential signs of self-harm, responsibly report any concerns to the relevant authorities, and provide help to reduce the risk of future dangerous behaviours.
