Miriam Jones qualified as a teacher in 1997 and has taught across all primary year groups. In addition to her classroom experience, she has led two primary schools. Currently, she is a Lecturer in Primary Education, specializing in science and professional studies.

Dave Jones
Dave Jones is a lecturer in Primary Education at UEA. He has taught across several year groups and has held senior leadership roles in various primary schools. Before becoming a teacher, he worked as an analytical chemist.

Martin Smith
Martin Smith is a lecturer in Primary Education (Mathematics) at UEA. A father of two living in North Norfolk, he is an experienced classroom practitioner who enjoys the opportunity to make a difference.

• Develop your understanding and use of reflective practice to review and identify your own professional development needs.
• Reflect on, develop and extend your understanding and application of a range of behaviour management strategies.
• Reflect on and develop your assessment for learning (AFL) approaches to identify the learning needs of your students.
• Reflect on and develop your pedagogical approach to teaching and learning, including providing appropriate challenge and support for your students.
• Develop effective strategies for managing and prioritising workload.
