Description
Most, if not all, teachers have students in their classes who are unmotivated to participate in learning, or students whose motivation is less than optimal. Preparing ‘bells and whistles’ activities to engage your students is time consuming and any motivational benefits are often short-lived.
However, simple changes to everyday classroom routines can make a substantial impact on your students’ motivational states, resulting in increased persistence, engagement and resilience.
Discover the science behind motivation and learn evidence-based strategies that will help you to meet your students’ motivational needs. As a bonus, you will also learn how to motivate yourself to achieve your own personal and professional goals!
