Description

This practical and essential course will be delivered in two episodes, each lasting between 20 - 26 minutes. It contains a clearly explained and highly practical approach to having a growth mindset. It is appropriate for all types of schools, and is beneficial for both classroom teachers and teaching assistants.

Within a classroom setting all teachers know that we would prefer to have pupils with a growth mindset rather than a fixed one. The challenge though is to know what we need to do in the classroom to create this shift. The session will share some of the techniques that can achieve this.

The course is fully practical and will equip teachers with effective strategies and techniques for helping students with a 'fixed' mindset.

• Learning the difference between what a 'fixed' and 'growth' mindset is and how to differentiate between them
• How to know when enforcing a growth mindset is appropriate
• How to nurture a growth mindset and encourage independence
• How to make involvement with students successful and positive
